About Us
Welcome to Hello Peace!
Hello Peace was founded by Keeya Vawar, a survivor of sex trafficking, an author, speaker, and advocate who has dedicated her life to amplifying the voices of other survivors. Keeya dreams of a world where every woman can walk in freedom and safety. It begins with being reintroduced to a gift from God to quiet the noise from the trauma experienced years ago. It’s Peace. This type of peace is only found by having a relationship with the one who gives it freely - Christ Jesus.
Through her own journey and years of advocacy, she came to understand that the fight for justice often looks different in BIPOC communities, where systemic barriers, cultural stigmas, and generational trauma create unique challenges.
With a deep commitment to breaking these cycles, Hello Peace addresses the intersection of sex trafficking, domestic violence, mental health, and child safety. Through awareness, advocacy, and a strong network of resources, Keeya and her team stand alongside those most impacted, offering pathways to healing, tools for rebuilding, and the power to reclaim their lives.
We are dedicated to empowering BIPOC women who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing physical and sexual abuse, mental illness, and self-sabotage. Our mission is to provide resources, tools, and a supportive community to help individuals discover healing, purpose, and opportunities for a new beginning. With peace in tow and resources to educate communities, she found in her own life that peace is possible.
Drawing from years of working with anti-human trafficking organizations, Keeya has provided consultation, group trainings, and keynote addresses that educate communities, equip service providers, and inspire lasting change. We also develop training courses and resources, including specialized curricula created in partnership with after-school programs and mentoring sessions for leaders. These initiatives equip staff with real-life trauma-informed training and give the individuals they serve essential social skills for healing and personal growth.
Through books, podcasts, videos, and speaking engagements, we shine a light on critical issues such as sex trafficking, mental health, and child safety. We connect communities to life-changing opportunities, including safe housing, employment pathways, counseling programs, and life skills training, ensuring that restoration is not just a possibility but a reality.
